This Polyamory Book Has a Listing Problem
The content is genuinely interesting. The topic is edgy, timely, and has a real audience. But the Amazon listing is doing it no favors.
The title, Becoming Open, is decent but vague. Something more direct — leading with "polyamory" or "open relationships" — would pull in search traffic far more effectively. Keywords matter on Amazon, and right now this book is leaving that on the table.
The blurb has big gaps of empty space and doesn't clearly communicate what the book is actually about. A reader landing on this page should instantly know what they're getting. Right now they have to work for it. That kills conversions.
The cover has a cool aesthetic but doesn't signal the subject matter strongly enough. In a crowded niche, your cover needs to do heavy lifting at thumbnail size. This one doesn't quite get there.
And there's no paperback or hardcover edition listed yet, which is missed revenue sitting right there.
The bones are good. The content is strong. But the listing needs a full rewrite — tighter blurb, clearer cover concept, and the full format lineup published. Fix those things and this book has a real shot.
